No matter where you look, Colorado State University is full of solution-seeking energy – especially when it comes to combating the effects of climate change.
The CSU Climate Hub at the Spur campus in Denver is leading the way in connecting these world-class researchers with the policymakers and industrial leaders who can turn their science into impact, and now, it’s highlighting their work – as well as innovation happening in the wider climate and research community – in a new podcast: Green and Bold.
Each episode includes a conversation between CSU Climate Hub Director Veera Mitzner and a leader who is looking beyond political cycles and working every day to advance practical, evidence-based solutions.
“As climate impacts become more visible across the country, these conversations highlight the ideas and people who are making a measurable difference and helping us understand both challenges and pathways towards a more climate-resilient future,” Mitzner said. “The Climate Hub at CSU Spur is all about creating meaningful connections, and this podcast highlights people who are willing to think boldly about combating the biggest challenge of our time.”
The first season of the podcast tackles one of the most provocative questions in climate science: What if we aren’t reducing greenhouse gas emissions fast enough?
During each episode, Mitzner will sit down with leaders in climate invention who will discuss everything from carbon dioxide and methane removal to solar radiation modification and other approaches to potentially slow down the impacts of climate change.
